Drumming
Mohair Mountain - Grade 6 Drums

One of my outside of college hobbies is drumming. I began playing the drums when I was in Year 7 at school and have been playing now for 7 years. I began having lessons at school but then in 2014, my lessons moved from school to the Rock and Pop Foundation in Aldershot. Here is an example of one of the pieces for my Grade 6 Exam which I have recently completed.

Another passion of mine is my faith - I am a devout Roman Catholic who has a love of both the liturgies of the Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite (dating from 1970) as well as the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite (last amended in 1962). My father is a Deacon and was ordained for service in the Catholic Diocese of Portsmouth on 2nd July 2016 and serves in the Parish of St Joseph's and St Mary's in Aldershot where I serve as the Parish Master of Ceremonies. Here is a video of a Solemn High Mass celebrated at Farnborough Abbey in April 2018 by the Abbot of Farnborough, Abbot Cuthbert Brogan OSB.
My love of Musical Theatre
Jersey Boys - my favourite musical

A third passion of mine is my love of Musicals. I've seen many musicals including We Will Rock You, Top Hat, The Phantom of the Opera and Wicked. My favourite musical of all time is Jersey Boys. I was lucky enough to see the show in the West End twice and then went to see the UK Tour in Woking in 2018. Here is a slideshow of photos from when I saw the West End Production in 2016, about 7 months before the show closed.
