"For BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Creative Media Production, John has proved to be a talented student who has demonstrated an ability in every aspect of this course and who is consistently improving.  He shows a good analytical ability in the more theoretical side of the course, able to identify and establish the relevant codes and conventions of whichever medium he is working with.  He shows a methodical approach to the administrative tasks, such as risk assessments.  John works well in his production group, demonstrating an ability to work alongside a range of peers.  He is able at creating ideas for his productions, at planning, filming and editing and at communication skills with the relevant parties along the way.  He has produced productions in a variety of contexts throughout the course: TV advert, documentary, animation, corporate video, and is currently working on a music video for a local artist. John often assists at Open evenings and is always an enthusiastic volunteer. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending John in the warmest possible terms.  I predict he will obtain a Distinction / Merit grade."
