PERSONAL PROFILE

I am a positive and keen young man who is eager to both learn new skills and develop attributes I already possess. As a self-motivated person with a determined nature, I am always willing to take on new challenges and approach these with a flexible and open mind. I am a dependable person and believe my good communication skills help me to work well in a team along with my respect for others. I can also describe myself as someone who can make people laugh in the easiest possible way due to my personality.

CAREER OBJECTIVE

I completed a Level 2 BTEC First Diploma in Business at All Hallows Sixth Form College, achieving a Distinction Merit grade and hope to transfer these skills to a work environment. I then moved to Farnham Sixth Form College and completed a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Creative Media Production as well as BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate in Applied Law, having completed the BTEC Level 3 Certificate in Applied Law. I am a very sociable and approachable person and hope to use these skills in a customer facing job. I hope to find a career that incorporates my desire for new challenges alongside my existing interpersonal skills.

ACHIEVEMENTS AND ABILITIES

I have been learning to play the drums for nine years and have recently passed my Grade 6 examination, having passed three grades with Distinction, two with Pass and one with Merit.
I have a passion for Performing Arts and attended Stagecoach Drama School between 2008 and 2018.
I have been an altar server for 15 years and for the past 11 years, I have fulfilled the capacity of Senior Altar Server at St Joseph’s Church, Queens Road where I now serve as the Parish Master of Ceremonies, a role I have held since October 2014.
I was a member of various choirs and bands during my time at All Hallows including lead of the rhythm section in the school Big Band.
I was elected as Chair of the Class Council for three consecutive years and was given the responsibility of representing my peers at senior meetings.
I was chosen to become a Mentor for new students when I was in Year 10 and was challenged with making their transition to secondary school as comfortable as possible by using my own experience to provide advice and help where needed.
I spent 10 years in the Scout Association achieving my Chief Scout’s Bronze Award in Beavers, Silver Award in Cubs and Gold Award in Scouts.
I spent two years volunteering as a Young Leader helping out at a Cub Scout Pack and so I have basic First Aid Training through completing that at a Young Leaders’ Training Weekend.
I gained my Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award at the end of 2014 after successfully completing the elements of Volunteering, Skills and Physical Activities as well as a Day Hike and two 2-day expeditions, one in Tilford, the other in the New Forest.
I am involved with the local Conservatives Association in Aldershot and Farnborough - which has involved campaigning across the constituency with our MP, Leo Docherty and also has involved monthly socials and a trip to the Houses of Parliament, as well as meeting other MPs such as James Cleverly, Tom Pursglove, Michael Gove, Gillian Keegan, Jonathan Lord, Angela Richardson, Caroline Dinenage and Andrew Bowie.
I have was a Student Representative for my tutor groups at Farnham Sixth Form College and attended Faculty Forums and Student Parliament meetings.
