I'm John Aburn and I'd like to welcome you to my website.

 

I'm a recent graduate from Farnham Sixth Form College where I completed a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Creative Media Production as well as a BTEC Level 3 Certificate/Extended Certificate in Applied Law. Here you will be able to find out a little bit about me and get an insight into my hobbies and interests.

You will see from my CV that I have gained a wide variety of both

transferable and specific skills, which relate to working in media:

 

• Interest in the Media: By being an avid TV watcher and social media fenatic, when the option came to study Media at college, I thought it would be a very interesting subject to study which is why I decided to enrol on the BTEC Level 3 Media course.

 

• Computer skills: During my time at Primary and Secondary School, and as well at college, I have learnt the basic skills required in order to be able to use a computer, and I have been able to help family members and acquaintances with the skills to be able to use software independently. 

 

• Writing/research skills: All my written work is of good quality and written to a high standard. When it comes to research, I have been praised especially in my BTEC Level 3 Law course because of all the outside research and reading I do prior to each lesson.
